Amit is the other climber in our team and this is also his second attempt to climb Everest. In 2010 he reached Camp 2 before illness also forced a premature end to his climb. Amit lives in Leicester, UK with his wife and three kids. His dad lives nearby and they are a very close family who really enjoy each other. He is able to stay in touch with them on an almost daily basis using his satellite phone – isn’t technology great?!
